Chief Information Officer, European Internet Service Provider (ISP)

We were tasked to find a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to work for a European ISP in Germany. The ideal candidate needed to have a thorough knowledge of e-commerce and also be experienced in current web technologies.

To meet the demands of such a challenging position, the successful candidate also had to demonstrate a strong knowledge of software development, be a good communicator and have the personality to lead around 100 employees. The customer's internal HR department had already sought a suitable candidate, but without success.

After creating a detailed profile of specifications for the position, we knew the precise personal and professional qualifications required for this role. Together with the client, we devised a recruitment strategy and decided it the best route would be to carry out personal interviews, using our existing candidate database.

We managed to draw up a shortlist after only six weeks and supported the client throughout the entire recruitment process. The chosen candidate is now firmly integrated into the company and performing his job very successfully.
