Hays Executive in Denmark originally built a rapport with this leading engineering consultancies in April 2008. We were tasked to source a very complex and specific Turbine Energy Expert, a role that they had great difficulty in finding.
Solution
We held an initial meeting to establish parameters and previous issues were reviewed in relation to the very specific skill sets required.
After a thorough analysis of the individual skills required, we started an intense search for potential profiles working for competitors to this client and set up the first meetings with relevant candidates.
It became clear to us that we were able to present a very senior candidate, who could deliver the technical requirements and who was interested in an informal meeting with our client.
The result came from a very extensive search, which ultimately produced eight candidates, all with very relevant backgrounds, currently working in similar positions.
Result
After several personal interviews and negotiation, our client agreed terms with the candidate and offered the position to the individual in question.
This success became the basis for our current cooperation agreement with the client and today we are proud to say that we have recruited 10 candidates for their organisation, who have all lived up to the expectations of this market leading knowledge company.
Case Study Two
Recruitment
Following this leading international and modern lighting company's earlier positive cooperation with Hays Executive abroad, we were set a brief in Denmark to recruit their new Danish Director, a person with proven industry experience.
Solution
After a meeting and thorough review of the persons specification, we offered to conduct a direct search/headhunting to find a candidate who with a solid track record in the industry and of the calibre to drive the company forward in Denmark.
Working closely with our executive search team, we identified 15 very relevant and direct competitors. After an extensive search and several personal interviews, including taking references, we shortlisted four highly skilled candidates, each with the right level of experience and industry contacts.
The company selected and carried out four candidate interviews at our office in Copenhagen.
Result
The outcome of these interviews was very positive and the company cooperated closely with Hays Executive to select the right candidate. All four profiles were examined again and the final decision was made.
The appointed Director has implemented a turnaround for the company, which has resulted in the company now expanding and looking to recruit even more skilled employees. We are now recruiting for their new Sales Manager.
