A leading US casual wear brand approached us to recruit an HR Director for the French subsidiary. With the help of Hays Executive Italy, the Group had already recruited for the same position in their Italian subsidiary. The challenge was to find a business oriented HR profile with very strong generalist skills but also a good track record in HR project management at corporate level.
Solution
We were able to quickly launch this search setting up a double sourcing: identifying almost 50 target companies from the FMCG sector to expose the current market to our client and using the expertise of our French HR & Legal division in recruiting HR specialists in the Retail and Fashion sector. This allowed us to introduce candidates that had already been identified as being open to a move.
Result
We were able to present a complete shortlist of candidates, proposing a true choice to the client: people from various environments and backgrounds, from the most junior to the most senior option, with a different focus on HR specialisms and personalities that would complement the Managing Director of France and HR Corporate team of our client at EMEA level.
