Assignment

Having successfully worked with Hays in Holland, we were approached by a manufacturer of driver information systems who supplies the world’s leading automotive brands. Located in various European countries, we were set the challenge to find the right person to spearhead the opening of their very first office in France.

Solution

Given the timescales involved in winning new contracts within the automobile business, they were looking to appoint someone quickly. Our research team in Paris was able to quickly draw up a list of target companies where candidates would have the requisite automotive and electronics experience.

Result

The final challenge was of a logistical nature. As our client was based abroad, we had to organise the final interviews to a very tight timescale and make sure that all the candidates were available at the right time. Our consultants also provided support and advice throughout the assignment and helped our client to understand French law and administration, as this was their first ever employee under French contract.
