We were approached by one of the world’s biggest steel manufacturers to recruit a CFO for their recently acquired subsidiary in the Netherlands. Our wide network of suitable candidates impressed the client and won us the assignment.
Solution
Our executive team carried out an in-depth analysis of the organisation’s requirements, including the culture and vision for this expansion. We then determined the core competencies and skills required for this role, which enabled us to build an accurate and detailed profile of the ideal candidate. Relevant individuals were put forward following a detailed search process to locate, contact and assess suitable skill sets.
Result
In agreement with the client, two individuals fitted the specification and were invited to interview. The eventual postholder not only had a strong industry track record but was also experienced at turning around non-profit companies.
