Assignment

We were contacted by an international transportation systems operator, who was looking for a new regional business manager for one of their Swedish regions. The remit for this prestigious position included line managing as many as 1250 employees and being responsible for the region’s biggest client. Our challenge was to identify candidates with extensive managerial experience, B2B sales and understanding of doing business with the public sector.

Solution

A targeted search was carried out to identify local individuals who not only matched the competency criteria for the position but who were also willing to relocate. A shortlist of four candidates, with extensive managerial experience, was presented to the client within six weeks.

Result

The client interviewed all the shortlisted candidates, who were then narrowed down to two. Following a series of assessments and tests, they appointed one of them.
