FINANCE MANAGER

To strengthen their operations in Poland, a global consumer products business that has been trading for over a century, are looking to recruit an ambitious, business-focused individual for the position of Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of the finance function, including statutory and management reporting SOX, internal controls, compliance with government and company accounting policies, financial analysis, cash flow management, treasury, tax, budgets and forecasting, strategic plans and risk management.
As well as providing first line, business management support to the Managing Director and regional management team, you will also be expected to review financial transactions and reporting processes and support key business initiatives, including sales and marketing activities, pricing support programs, revenues and distribution channels.
The company is looking for a proven leader, preferably with direct management experience, with 5-7 years’ experience in a finance/controlling role and a strong knowledge of US GAAP/IAS reporting standards as well as local tax laws. With a flair for communication, you will create and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, HR and IT to promote efficiencies.
Ideally a graduate or equivalent in finance, economics or business management, you will need an excellent grasp of English. Previous experience of working in FMCG and a working knowledge of SAP or other ERP would also be desirable.
