Paxport has been active in the travel industry as a software and service provider since 1992, when its initial core business was consolidating passenger data for tour operators and leisure airlines. Today, the company offers a wide range of innovative software and outsourcing services, creating new ways of raising revenues and cutting costs for customers throughout Europe. They provide services to more than 60 customers in the airline industry and run more than 20 websites.
We are looking for an experienced Managing Director to direct and expand a newly acquired software development company that has 16 employees dedicated to development and testing , project management, project specifications and coordination. The company is located in Täby with a second office located near Arlanda airport.
You should already have at least 5-7 years’ experience managing a software development company with at least 10 employees, preferably at Managing Director level, growing the company in terms of turnover and profit. You will be responsible and accountable for ensuring that the company operates in an economically effective way. You will also be responsible for corporate policy implementation and compliance. A member of the Board of Directors for the development company, you will report to the company owners.
Excellent technical knowledge of Java development is required in order to direct software developers and system architects. You should be ambitious, have a strong leadership style, be highly commercial, well-organized with a ‘hands –on’ approach.
