Commercial Director North Latam Region

Assignment

Hays Executive was hired to find the Commercial Director with a responsibility over North Latam region that in a midterm would be the succession plan of the current General Manager who was going to be promoted to another role. The company needed a professional who could increase the income and work closely with the General Manager to lead the entire business.

Solution

We worked closely with the Human Resources Manager and General Manager to define the profile requirements and understand the objectives and goals they had to meet. Our experience in the Life science industry helped us to quickly understand their needs and define the companies that had a similar business in order to identify the best candidates within the region.

Result

After a detailed market research we identified (10) potential candidates and built a short list of (5) candidates with our client. These professionals had the competences, market knowledge and experience to meet and exceed the company’s expectations. A candidate with more than (20) years of experience in the industry and highly developed leadership skills accepted the offer and after a year he has increased the incomes within the region and is close to his promotion as General Manager for the company.
