Assignment

As a result of previous successful partnership with Hays in Denmark and internationally, an international listed company and leader in their sector tasked Hays with sourcing a Nordic Finance Director.


Solution

After a meeting and in-depth dialogue about the new organization, the complexity and the contents and challenges of the position, we offered to carry out a Scandinavian search/headhunting process.

Teams in our Accountancy & Finance divisions in different countries conducted a combined extensive search and completed the initial part of the recruitment process, organising interviews, testing and reference taking.


Result

We provided a shortlist of the top candidates from the respective countries after which interviews were held with the candidates submitted. We also assisted with the coordination of meetings as well as travel and hotel bookings and liaised with the candidates to provide feedback.

After three rounds of interviews, the final decision was made and the job was offered to one our top Danish candidates. The candidate has been very successful in his job and has made a huge difference in the Scandinavian finance organisation – we have received excellent feedback from the organisation.

Rekruttering

Vores kunde er en international børsnoteret virksomhed med hovedsæde i udlandet, der er førende inden for deres område. I forbindelse med omstrukturering af den europæiske økonomifunktion og på baggrund af det allerede særdeles positive samarbejde med HAYS i Danmark såvel som internationalt, fik HAYS Executive til opgave at finde en Nordic Finance Director.


Løsning

Efter personligt møde og uddybende dialog omkring den nye organisation, kompleksiteten samt stillingens indhold og udfordringer, tilbød vi at lave en skandinavisk search/headhunting, hvor Hays Executive teams inden for Accountancy & Finance fra de forskellige lande lavede en omfattende search og gennemførte den indledende del af rekrutteringsforløbet med samtaler, tests og referencetagning.


Resultat

Kunden modtog derefter en shortlist med topkandidaterne fra de respektive lande, hvorefter kunden gennemførte interviews med de fremsendte kandidater. Hays bistod kunden med koordinering af møder, rejse- og hotelbestilling og sidst men ikke mindst tilbagemelding til kandidaterne.

Efter tre interviewrunder blev den endelige beslutning truffet, og valget faldt på en af de danske topkandidater. Vedkommende er i dag godt i gang med at få sat sit positive fingeraftryk på den skandinaviske organisation og har fået særdeles gode tilbagemeldinger fra ledelsesteamet såvel som medarbejderne.
