An International manufacturing business seeking a replacement Country Manager in this highly confidential assignment.

Solution

The client was seeking a commercially astute Country Manager from a direct competitor, within a very niche market. Hays Executive worked with the client to produce a comprehensive list of direct competitors and then mapped each organization to create a longlist of potential executives to be approached regarding this highly confidential role.

Result

From a very small candidate pool, 7 candidates were selected for interview and Hays Executive identified 2 candidates who demonstrated the commercial awareness and strategic ability to take on this challenging role. The client interviewed both executives and within 5 weeks of starting the assignment, the role was offered and accepted.
