Assignment

Our client didn’t have direct operations in Colombia, they needed to find a General Manager that could build, inaugurate and manage a new hotel in Bogota. They needed to understand the local industry and find the best professionals to develop this project that represented a high investment for the group.

Solution

We built the profile with our client; delimited the competences and experience requirements to succeed in the position. After understanding their needs we started a market research were we identified the General Managers for the different Hotels in Bogota. We had to identify candidates that had the knowledge of the industry and be trustworthy to manage the hotel.

Result

After mapping the industry in Bogota we built a short list of (8) candidates that fulfilled the profile requirements. Our client offered a candidate that had an entire career in the industry and had worked with one of their team members in the past. A year after, the hotel was inaugurated, today has a full running operation and is well recognized as one of the best hotels in the area.
